Can you believe we're already done with week 4? Us either! You still have till Monday to register, so if you know of someone who'd like to join the family, shoot them a text or DM this weekend and have them sign-up online. After Monday registration will be closed.

Heart & Soul Night - February 17th - City of Grace

Coming up on February 17th we will be having Heart & Soul night in the worship center of our Mesa campus. Our Pastors - Terry and Judith are personally sharing the vision for the next season of our church life together. They’ve asked that all 3 campuses unite and attend together. So we will be cancelling all classes starting at 6:30 or later on that Wednesday and we'll make them up on May 11th.

Spring Workshops - February 21st & February 22nd

Ballet Magnificat! company dancers have the privilege of using their individual gifts and talents to share the gospel of Jesus Christ both on and off stage. One of the ministry’s highlights each year is Ballet Magnificat!’s Summer Dance Intensive offered in Jackson, MS. Unfortunately not everyone has the opportunity to travel and attend a month-long workshop. For this reason, Ballet Magnificat! offers shorter workshops while on tour, giving the opportunity for dancers worldwide to participate in an abbreviated version of the Summer Dance Intensive.

Classes are taught by members of the Ballet Magnificat! Alpha Touring Company.

The workshop schedule includes beginner, intermediate and advanced classes in ballet technique, pointe, jazz, variations, conditioning, and creative worship.

Current EAS Student - $90 Full | $45 Half
New Registration - $100 Full | $55 Half

Workshops are open to students eight years of age or older with at least one year of ballet training.

Sunday February 21st - 2:30pm-6:50pm
Monday February 22nd - 4:30pm-8:50pm

UPDATE!!! As a community we have an amazing opportunity to provide host homes for the Ballet Mag Alpha Company while they are in town. So we need your help. We are in need of 10 host homes who could help us room and board the instructors from Saturday evening, February 20th, to Wednesday morning, February 24th. Current and past EAS company members are encouraged to take part in this outreach, as it would put 2 or 3 professional christian artists right within arms reach. As someone who was hosted internationally many times, I can speak first hand that I still have relationships with all the families who were kind enough to open up their homes to me. I know for sure this would be an amazing opportunity for you and your family to bless and make a lasting connection with another kingdom artist. Don't miss your chance, email us at info@eas.online and we'll get you the full details! Thank you - Jesse Brown

Finally, we're going to finish up with an awesome update from our Acting Director - Rebecca

This past Saturday, N2Acts competed for the very first time in the Arizona Thespians Regional Festival! During this event, all public high schools gather from the central region of the state to present monologues, duet and group acting scenes, musical pieces, and one-acts for evaluation and awards. Our two high school competitors, Alyssa Walsh and Ariel Russo, have made EAS proud to announce the following results:
On a point scale of 20 with 5-7 = Fair; 8-12 = Good; 13 – 17 = Excellent, and 18 – 20 = Superior, and averaging the scores of 3 judges, totals were as follows:

Duet Acting: Alyssa & Ariel: 17 (High Excellence)
Monologue: Alyssa Walsh:  16 (Excellent)
Monologue: Ariel Russo: 18 (Superior)

Give these ladies congratulations when you see them! Also, please stay tuned, as our two Junior High Students from N2Acts will be competing at the Junior Festival on March 5th at Theater Works in Peoria! Way to go N2Acts
