Well let's start with the big story. This past weekend our Pastors broke the amazing news that our church - City of Grace, is becoming Hillsong Phoenix. Here's a short excerpt from our website:
After years of serving as a large, vibrant, multi-site church in the Phoenix metro area, and after much prayer and planning, we are excited to announce that we have become the 16th global campus of Hillsong Church.
City of Grace is now Hillsong Phoenix. Under the visionary leadership of our Senior Pastors, Brian and Bobbie Houston, and with the continuing direction of Lead Pastors Terry and Judith Crist, we believe this will position us to reach tens of thousands in the region with the love, grace, and hope of Jesus. Welcome home Phoenix. You belong here.
This Saturday, February 20th, EAS is hosting 2 workshops for Acting and Music. Our music workshop is from 10:30-12:30 and is open to all ages 7 and above. Forte, our senior music company, will be leading the workshop along with Ms. Nita our music director. Students will jump in with worship leading, sign language and singing. The music workshop is FREE and open to all.
Our acting workshop will be taught by special guest instructor - Eric Storie. Read His Bio Here. There will be 2 sessions. The first is open to all, ages 8 and above, and no experience is required. The first session is from 9:30-10:30 and cost is $10. The second session is from 10:40-12:55 and students will cover advanced elements of improv and how to create a Harold long form element. Prior exposure to improv is required for session 2.

Forte - Music Company
This past weekend our senior music company was invited to perform and be the evening's enterainment at the Mesa Riverview Chick-Fil-a. Reports were that it was a smashing success and a great Valentines party. If you see a Forte member or Ms. Nita around, give them a high-five. AND, if reading this makes you hungry, grab a quick bite from our friends at the Mesa Riverview Chick-Fil-a. They have been super supportive of EAS and we're glad to support them in return.
Time flies and it's hard to believe we're already in week 6. So if you have yet to make an initial payment we need you to email us straight away at - firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you get set up.
