Briana Taft - Acting

Brianna is an Arizona artist who has lives to glorify God and make disciples every day of her life. Although she loves dancing, writing, singing, playing instruments, drawing, and painting, her calling has been in the theatre. She longs to give young people a voice and platform to impact the world while providing a safe environment to express oneself in the classroom. She has acted in school since a child and has done community work in the valley in her later years. She has been teaching drama/acting for three years now, starting in Mesa and working her way to Minneapolis, and hopes to continue on reaching many people in many states and countries! (Here are some companies she's worked for/with: Mesa Arts Center, Musical Instrument Museum, New Carpa Theatre, Arizona Family Theatre company, ASU, MCC, CLIMB Theatre, Artists of Promise, and Scripts on Strike)  She's best known for her smile, silly tangents, and surprisingly deep thoughts.

Tobin Anderson - Ballet

Tobin Anderson is native to the valley. She studied dance at Adam's Ballet and went to Chandler Gilbert Community College. She is a guest with us at EAS for ths summer and is excited to push our students to new levels in ballet! A fav quote of Tobin's is- "He is no fool who give's up what he can not keep to gain what he can not lose". -Corie Ten Boom

Chris "IKA" Sagayo - Hip Hop

Chris "IKA" Sagayo is a dancer/choreographer who specializes in hip hop/ breaking movements. Currently a member of ABDC season 7 champions Elektrolytes. He has been all over the world teaching unique breaking/dynamic movement techniques. His choreography is versed with hard hitting movements as well as unique foundational techniques.

Alexandra Martinez - Hip Hop

I am Alexandra Martinez, and I have been dancing since I was 9 years old. I grew up training in hip hop, jazz and cheering with Pop Warner football. I participated in my high school's dance program, where I was on Illusion Dance Co. for 3 years. I was involved with the Varsity cheer team for 3 years, as well as, named captain my senior year. Since then, I have received National and Year round scholarships with NRG Dance Project. I am currently a four year veteran with the Phoenix Suns Dance team, in addition to being a second year veteran, with the Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad. I love taking class to challenge myself in new ways, as well as teaching and sharing experiences with other dancers!

Nick Flores - Hip Hop

Getting a late start, Nick Flores didn’t begin dancing until the age of 13. Starting in Musical Theater, he did stage work up until college, performing all around the US and Europe. Getting a feel for the stage and performance early, he decided to expand his talents and go on to different styles. While studying at Arizona State, He danced with the ASU Hip Hop Coalition and  Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad for 3 years. Continuing on his career, Nick has danced with ABDC winners Elektrolytes and EPIK Dane Company. Nick even expanded his styles further and placed in the top 5 at the Latin World Cup with salsa company Stilo Dance Company. 

Nick’s choreography has been showcased by groups like the Phoenix Suns dance team, Denver Nuggets dance team, EPIK Dance Company, Phoenix Theatre, and the UofA Black and Blue hip hop team. He has worked with choreographers such as Leslie Scott and Dave Scott while receiving a Monsters of Hip Hop scholarship award. Nick now teaches for numerous schools and studios around the valley. While working heavily with numerous non-profit groups to keep youth involved in the arts. His most recent accomplishment is joining the Cirque Du Soleil family. He has grown to realize his true passion for teaching and inspiring all that is possible. He hopes to continue that passion for many years to come.

Terrance "Hush" Eddings - Hip Hop

Terrance Hush Eddings is a professional dancer from California. He started dancing at the age of five watching artist like Michael Jackson, Usher, and Omarion. He has impersonated Michael Jackson at parties, danced for the Phoenix Suns, the Phoenix Mercury, Epik dance company, and a non profit organization called the be kind people project. He has recently became a member of Elektro Academy ran by the Elektrolytes and is still looking to grow even more.
