Hello Parents!!

As you know, our senior company members are getting ready to head out to our annual Disneyland trip. It’s such an awesome opportunity for our kids to have fun doing what they love. They get professional training and feedback during the workshop, they get to minister and show the love and passion they have for being kindom artist on stage for all to see, they get to see professional shows to get inspired and see the places their craft can take them, and they get to have lots of free time to have fun and bond with each other as a family. Needless to say, this Disney weekend will be jammed packed with so many wonderful opportunities.

With our departure date drawing near, there’s a few things to be aware of before we go. The first thing is that we will have all information in a Disneyland trip tab on our website. We will have a  checklist, what to pack, what to wear on specific days, our daily schedule, performance times and so much more! If you have a question, go ahead and look at that to see if you can find your answer. If you don’t, please don’t hesitate to ask one of the directors.

Another thing to know is that we will be having a dress rehearsal that everyone who plans to perform on the Disney stage needs to be at. Please plan accordingly. It’s during company time so you won’t have to come on an extra day, but every student does need to plan to be there. Don’t be absent :) It will be the first and only time we have to run everything in show order with all costumes and transitions before we perform on the Disney stage. The dress rehearsal will be Tuesday February 14th 6:00pm-9:00pm. I understand that all company kids usually have technique class during that time, but each director will be excusing the students from class to be ready for the dress rehearsal. We will need everyone to be in FULL hair and make-up with correct undergarments and costumes. Make sure your student has everything they need (cleaned and ready to go in a bag before they leave for school) for this dress rehearsal. We will start right at 6:00pm (they should not be getting ready at 6:00pm) and will use all the time we have until 9:00pm. Please plan for them to be officially done around 9:15pm because they will have to pack everything up and get last minute notes. If you would like to join us for our last and final run of the night, please arrive by 8:15pm to get a sneak peek.

Last thing, all final payment is due no later than Thursday, February 9th. If you would like, you can hand it in any time before then! You can give it to Casey at the front desk or Pam whenever she’s in the office. Our hotel will have breakfast every morning but please plan to send enough money with your company member to eat lunch and dinner Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Disneyland is higher on the price range so plan for at least $25 a meal (churros, dole-whip, and chocolates all cost extra!). Each hotel room will have some snacks, but not enough to feed them full meals every day!

We are so excited to be able to go back for a 3rd time. Each time gets better and better!! Again, if you have any questions at all take a look out our website! If your question is still unanswered, don’t hesitate to ask a director. Let’s all join together and pray for awesome things to happen this Disney weekend! We are ready and expectant to do God’s work!

Ms. Anna
